Winter and Covid-19 are in full effect now and the latter has already ruined our Christmas Holidays. It is NOT going to take our New Year celebration especially after the year that we have had. Although indoor dining is still closed in D.C. there are still a lot of places where you can turn up! Of course, here at City Vibes we have the best options for you celebrate the end of this crazy year, drink, and shake that booty.
First option is to go away! I am always going to suggesting making a quick trip. It has been a long year and quick getaway is exactly what the doctor order. Well, the doctor actually ordered us to stay home and self-quarantine, but I am over that! Also, I have a long standing tradition to travel for my birthday and NYE. New Year’s Eve Washington D.C.
- Party Party Party! There are very limited options, but a lot of hookah bars and lounges are open all across the Northern Virginia area. NoVa to the rescue!
- Try your luck at the nearest casino. Drinks, games, and plenty of space to social distance. MGM Casino at National Harbor or Maryland Live! Casino are both open for New Year’s Eve 2020, although they have new guidelines in place, such as temperature checks, reserved time slots, and mandatory mask use.
- Bourbon Steak will have a preset menu on New Year’s Eve in their outdoor dining bubbles. This bring me to my next set of suggestions; partying may be out but outdoor indoor igloo dining is the new wave of trendy dining in dc.
