I really like to post quick interactive travel posts! Let’s do a Travel roll call….Where have you been? Rate them 1-5 and what was the worse or best part about the place you visited!
I have been to:
- Haiti – 5 – This is where my family is from. I visit as often as I can and love it hear. People don’t realize how beautiful Haiti is.
- Brazil – 4.8 – I did a study abroad program for 3 months in Salvador, Brazil. I loved it, the music, culture, dance, food and the afro-Brazilian people. I stayed during Carnival and that was a once in a life time experience.
- Spain – 5 – THIS IS MY FAVORITE VACATION as of right now! I did two weeks, one in Barcelona and one in Madrid. We loved Barcelona and I wish we stayed longer. I definitely have to revisit.
- Netherlands – 3 – This was a fun quick trip! The city has a lot of charm.
- UAE – 5 – I have been to the U.A.E about 3 times and every time I love it. This is a place I can visit often.
- England – 2 – I visited London and I did not really like it. As a New Yorker, it just reminded me of NYC but with bad food. However, it was not to see all the historical monuments we see in movies and tv shows. It was also nice to check out the Notting Hill Carnival.
- Barbados – 4 – one word: CROPOVER 2017!!!!
- Jamaica – 4.5 – My sister and I went to Negril for a party weekend. Music, food, vibes, beach, waterfalls, the eye candy! My life has never been the same. I need to revisit again, maybe for a baection next time.
- Bahamas – 2.7 – I like Bahamas but there not much to do there.
- Mexico – 5 – I have been to Mexico twice, first to Cancun for Spring Break then again to Cabo for my 30th birthday. Both times were amazing, the people are very friendly, and I MUST do Cabo again. I hear Tulum is fun?!
- Canada – 3 – Caribana was fun! Toronto is a great city, I would like to revisit again.
- Thailand – 4.5 – Thailand was fun however, the hype is definitely way to high in my opinion. Bangkok is cool for like 2 days and the rest of Thailand is ehhh. Phuket was fun but the real gem is Phi Phi island! That is the only reason my sister and I would go back.
- Indonesia – 5 – The resort in Bali was absolutely beautiful.
- Trinidad – 5 – My first carnival! My first international trip. My first adventure! My first everything and so it always will be my number 1 vacation.
