The Scores are in: Best Airline to Fly

Time to discuss which Airline is best to fly! Of course, we all have our favorite airline, the one we are loyal to the end for but each year the airlines are ranked, let’s see who came out on top!

This year’s winner is the newly crowned Qatar Airways, this international air carrier has won the top prize a total of seven times since the Skytrax World Airline Awards were introduced in 1999. The Qatari flag-carrier also won eight more awards for Best Business Class, Best Business Class Seat and Best Business Class Lounge Dining.

Surprisingly, the UAE flag-carrier Emirates was in third place, but was also awarded for Best Inflight Entertainment, Best Economy Class, Best Economy Class Catering and Best Premium Economy Class Seat.

Japan’s ANA (All Nippon Airways) came in at No.4 and was named World’s Cleanest Airline. That means a lot in this current pandemic environment, they set a high standard for hygiene and cleanliness. ANA also won four more awards including Best Airport Services.

Let’s switch gears to Domestic air carriers:

For these ratings, we used J.D. Power’sNorth America Airline Satisfaction Study. They have been tracking the state of the airline industry since 1993, and this year—for the first time—the company broke up the rankings into three areas: the best airlines in America for first/business class, the best airlines to fly in premium economy and the best airlines in economy/basic economy, allowing for three winners.

JetBlue Airways was the big winner, ranking on top as the best airline in two areas: first/business and premium economy. Meanwhile, Southwest Airlines was named the best airline for economy/basic economy.

According to The Points Guy annual ratings, Delta Air Lines was the leading airline in the U.S. Check their list below:
