A DC “must-do,” the series of six movies will launch the first Friday of every month through October 1. This year all features will be either action, comedy, or cult classics.   •  Columbia Pike Drive-In Movie Nights: Every Saturday nights in July & August pull up to the new Columbia Pike Drive-In Movie Nights at the Arlington Career Center for some retro-style family fun! Movies are rated G through PG-13. Not all films may be suitable for young children. All movies start at sunset (between 8 and 8:30 pm). Space is limited and a ticket purchase (for a donation to CPRO) and registration is required.   •  Downtown DC Can I Kick it: The DowntownDC BID and Shaolin Jazz are bringing this year’s outdoor cinematic experience to the recently reopened National Building Museum West Lawn and will be accompanied by a social distancing lawn design created by Lisa Marie Thalhammer. The series started already and will run every Tuesday through July 27. So jump on this opportunity before it ends! 7:30pm: Pre-movie seating and music by DJ 2-Tone Jones – sunset the movie begins.   •  Sunset Cinema at The Wharf 2021: Join us Thursday evenings at The Wharf for movies on our 20-foot outdoor LED screen. The series is open to all, but seating is limited so pre-register to reserve a chair. Chairs are first come first serve for pre-registered guests. Any seats not claimed at 8 pm will be available to all. You can register for up to six in a group at one time, if you need more tickets, please complete another registration.   • Movies on the Beach: If you are ever on a weekend trip away in Ocean City. They offer tons of things to do but they also showcase movies on the beach. Movie, popcorn and beach sunset – what else can you ask for? Well, in addition to the main event there will be music and entertainment with yard games like corn hole, ladder ball, spike ball and large connect four. Movies will start at approximately 8:30 p.m. or when dark.   • Noteworthy mention (SOLD OUT): Historic Congressional Cemetery – “Dinner & a Movie”. This unique event features watching movies in a cemetery, yes you read that right.
