Well, they are not in full bloom until April 3-6, according to Cherry Blossom Watch. For many cities there are different events that signify a season change. In New York it’s Tribeca Film Festival, in California it is Coachella or in Miami you have nothing because the weather is beautiful there all-year around, lucky bastards.
But here in the Washington Metro Area we have the famous Cherry Blossom bloom and festival. 3. March 23: Kick-off the 2019 National Cherry Blossom Festival and watch world-renowned performers as we welcome springtime to Washington, DC! 4. March 30: This may be the event I am most excited for: The Tastes of Spring Cherry Blossom Food Crawl, yes bar crawls are fun but a food crawl has my name written all over it.
