Black Owned

  • Harlem Tavern – Mon-Fri, 4–7pm

Perfect if you need a place for a big group. Harlem Tavern is a huge space with a massive front patio, plus a long bar food menu.

  • BLVD Bistro – Tues to Fri 2 – 7 pm

This American soul food restaurant is run by husband and wife team Carlos and Markisha Swepson and will feature items such as the double-cut pork chop, jumbo shrimp and grits, and a southern dinner with fried chicken, collard greens, potato salad, and a homemade biscuit.

  • IV Purpose – Tues-Fri 1-6 pm

This spot is a bar and grill on Fulton Street in Bed Stuy, Brooklyn. Our bar and grill offers a variety of delicious food options, from our tasty wings to their mouth-watering oxtail sliders.

  •  Bricks & Hops – Mon-Fri 4 – 8 pm

 B&H is a local beer garden, carrying 30 craft beers on draft and 20 craft beers in cans. This restaurant also provides a full kitchen open for Lunch & Dinner!

  • Vinatería – Daily 4 – 7 pm

Stop by Vinateria for vibrant yet comforting dishes rooted in the rich culinary traditions of Italy and Spain.  

Manhattan

  •  Lido Harlem – Mon-Fri, 4pm-7pm

Lido has a slightly romantic vibe and a bunch of tables for two, so it’s a good spot for a Happy Hour that doubles as a casual date.

  •  The Jeffrey – Mon-Fri, 4pm-7pm

The Jeffrey is basically built for Happy Hours with oysters on deck and a big backyard beer garden. The sandwiches and bar food bites are solid, the atmosphere is laid back, the beer list is huge, and the staff is friendly.

  •  169 Bar – Daily 2–7:30 pm

Like a lot of similarly dark and divey spaces, 169 has recently spilled out onto the sidewalk and into the sunshine with the expansion of outdoor seating. All the more room to enjoy its everyday deals and beloved beer-and-shot combos.  

  • Drop Off Service – All day until 7pm

Hours of cheap drinks ($3 and $4 select pints) could have you struggling to stay upright at this tried-and-true East Village favorite, but only if you insist on sampling all 19 different suds available on tap.

  • Keybar – Daily, 4-9pm

Keybar feels kind of like a tiny, divey nightclub with a great daily Happy Hour. This East Village spot isn’t the kind of place we recommend for a drink alone at the bar, but it can be fun with a group of friends—especially if it’s your birthday, since they offer a free round of shots for the annual occasion. 

Brooklyn

  •  Jadis – Daily 4–6 pm

This romantic Rivington Street wine bar has been a backdrop for date night, meet-cutes and self love since 2006. Its happy hour encourages infatuation with rosé, red, white and sparkling wine for $6-$10.

  • Kimoto Rooftop- Mon-Fri 5-7 pm

Located at the top of the Sheraton Hotel in Downtown Brooklyn is Kimoto rooftop beer garden! Happy hour is from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on weekdays, so be sure to drop by after work! They also have food and smaller bites to pair with your view of NYC.

  • Pokito Brooklyn – Mon-Fri 5-7 pm

It is a trendy bar and restaurant and unpretentious. The menu is mainly Latin Asian-inspired but relatively small. The outdoor seating is also tiny but makes a perfect spot for a date even in cold weather because it is heated. It is also the best spot for frozen cocktails.

  • St. Mazie Jazz Bar & Restaurant – Daily 5–7 pm

 St. Mazie has live music playing every night! The bar is open nightly, with Happy Hour served from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.  

Queens

  •  Zeus Kitchen – Mon – Fri 5-10 pm

Enjoy affordable deals all night long with mouthwatering burgers and cocktails, you’ll want to stay the full length of happy hour.

  • Doha Bar Lounge – Thurs – Sun 5-7 pm

  • Cobblestones Pub and Garden

Happy hour is fantastic! This place has been a mainstay on Queens Blvd for 30 years, it features a spacious bi-level dining space, with great food at reasonable prices, and an impressive outdoor Biergarten.

Bronx

  •  The Bronx Public – Mon-Fri 4-7pm

Exposed beams & graffiti-covered walls give this bar with a modern American menu a cool edge and features a craft kitchen & cocktails, and frozen drinks.

  •  Beatstro Mon-Fri 4-8pm

Beatsro celebrates the Bronx as well as its rich Puerto Rican and African American presence. The menu, flaunting a cross-cultural blend of cooking styles, features ethereally light pork rinds with barbecue seasoning and lemon, as well as golden-fried green tomatoes. Also save room for mojo chicken, with roasted potatoes, collard greens, and salsa verde.

  • Clinton Hall Bronx – Daily – 3- 6pm
