Back at it again – Let’s Eat DC. #DMVRW

The RETURN! Capital Region’s Summer Restaurant Week hosted by the Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington (RAMW), the event started Monday August 9th and runs until Sunday August 15th. If you are not familiar with it now, it is a week-long celebration of area restaurants; for local diners Restaurant Week is more than just a “deal” – it is an opportunity to try a new cuisine, explore restaurants in different neighborhoods or visit old favorites. DC is known for its restaurants. As one of the most highly anticipated food-related programs in region, restaurants in the promotion offer 3-course menus for lunch at $22, dinners for $35 and $55, or if you love a good brunch, enjoy menus at $22.

They are continuing the restaurant week tradition of RW-TOGO, diners will have the opportunity to try eateries across the DMV region with 3-course lunches or dinners on the go. Again, in our opinion #DMVRW allows every penny to be worth it as you taste your way through one of the most celebrated food scenes.

Here are some additional tips, advice and information, that will help you EAT DC:

  • Even in summer 2021, be mindful we are still under a health pandemic, many eateries have changed their normal business hours and are still requiring masks and practicing social distancing procedures. My suggestion is to make a 5 min phone call prior to going to confer any questions you may have.
  • The prix-fixe menus come with either a cocktail or wine pairing. However, be careful some excursions or rules may apply.
  • RAMW has a Restaurant Week Diner Rewards Program, where you can receive exclusive updates on restaurant deals, events and promotions throughout the year when you sign up. Members are automatically entered to win special Restaurant Week giveaways, including gift cards, cookbooks and more!

Either way: “DINE OUT. TAKE OUT. EAT UP.”
